OH-6 A CAYUSE

This is a 1/72 model to play Too fat Lardies Charlie don´t surf rules. Is a plastic model from Italeri, made and painted for my club partner and friend, Anibal invictus, the spanish bigger lardie´s fan.

Very easy to made, and very quick, is perfect for attack helis on the board game, flying over the 28mm minis.

I painted the  heli crystals, because I think is better for minis and models, looks... better in a game...I don´t know, may be are extrange, but  I like a lot!!!
What do you think about?

The OH-6 A CAYUSE, was an attack, LOH, or recon heli during Vietnam war. This heli won fame as quick and reliable. Perfect to support land troops and move quickly special forces.
After the war, in the early 70´s were replaced by OH-58 Kiowa.

Regia Marina Zara & HMS Hood.

Two WWII ships more.

HMS Hood.

Both are skytrex models 1/3000 scale.
The first is the HMS Hood, the last battle cruiser in the Royal Navy, and, the last victim of the Bismarck.
I painted with a grey pattern and the classic wooden brige for the british ships.

Regia Marina Zara.

The other ship is the first Zara class, named, of course, Zara, a heavy cruiser. This class was an inprove of the Trento class, and are formed by four ships, Zara, Gorizia, Pola and Fiume.
To paint this ship, I had four pictures, different between them. I choose a picture from 1943, also a grey pattern with the red and white bridge.

We began to play during this spring, in our club, battles with a different set of rules, because, we played  Victory at sea rules, but are not good rules for big battles. Now we are trying to play, the old rules named General quarters... and after two battles, I don´t know. I prefer Victory at sea.
